Job Description:

Clinical Support Analyst II - Operating Room

Who We Are:

Our operating room (OR) department is one of the largest and most active OR departments in the state, with an experienced staff providing comprehensive surgical care to our patients. We are fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology and have dedicated teams of surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses and other medical personnel who work together to deliver outstanding care. Our OR staff is committed to providing the highest quality patient care in a safe and comfortable environment.

About the Job:

The Clinical Support Analyst, under the supervision of the surgical services manager will be responsible for coordination of schedules, maintain, reconciles payroll for assigned staff according to the needs identified by the nurse manager. Collects/compiles pertinent data and supports functions for the clinical departments as needed.

What You'll Do:

  • Develops and maintains ongoing schedule for all staff in designated departments. Collaborates with managers and other designated staff to cover unanticipated needs.
  • Responsible for assisting the Director, Nursing Finance to support the financial goals of the organization through NDNQI reporting, budget development, productivity reporting and other necessary financial data.
  • Assists with payroll in designated departments by ensuring that staff time is accurate and ready for review and approval by the department manager.
  • Tracks completion of designated competencies for staff in assigned areas.
  • Coordinates Environment of Care activities.
  • FIT testing staff as required by the EHS.
  • Provides education during orientation and follow-up training regarding the use of Kronos and time clocks.
  • Supports the data management and administrative functions of designated departments.
  • Support the CSA I position in day to day activities and technical issues.

Who You Are:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required - Associates degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a healthcare setting functioning in an independent role. Experience with staff scheduling preferred.
  • Expertise level of MS Office, Kronos, Shiftwizard, Excel preferred.
