Job Summary:
Integrated Resources, Inc is a premier staffing firm recognized for its integrity and quality talent delivery. They are seeking a Kronos Developer to create and test software components, analyze defects, and ensure functionality in the Kronos system.
Responsibilities:
• Create software components that adhere to detailed design specifications and coding standards.
• Unit Test software components based on scripts derived from detailed designs.
• Perform root cause analysis on testing defects.
• Implement defect fixes to software components.
• Provide status on defect fixes for testing teams.
• Write / update code based on system requirements document
• Write / update test scripts, cut over plans, and miscellaneous deployment docs
• Support functional test, system test, support UAT, interact with developers onshore and offshore to explain defects, etc.
• Analyze existing interface functionality and ensure functionality remains intact with the new version of Kronos
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong technical knowledge of Kronos Time keeping, Kronos Scheduling, Process Manager and Kronos people record / profile modules
• Extensive knowledge and hands on experience of table and database structure for Kronos’ WFC, WFSO and WFAN applications
• Extensive knowledge and hands on experience of WIM/Connect migration
• Strong SQL, PL/SQL skills
• Experience with Java Scripting skills
• Experience in working with and developing in Visual Basic .NET
• Performance tuning experience
• Prior hands on experience working in Kronos My Time, Kronos My Scheduling (Kronos Schedules or Schedule optimization) and Kronos Navigator
• General knowledge of Kronos base configuration
• Good SQL skills used in support of testing and troubleshooting custom solutions (write queries that will allow them to be effective on testing)
• Experience supporting users with issues resolution, system enhancement, upgrades and conversion
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong client facing presentation skills
• Ability to work with both client and offshore team members
• Ability to self-manage to deadlines and commitments
• 5+ years of professional experience with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in development of software components
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent in education and experience
• Sound requirements gathering and analytical approach
• Proficient with understanding and applying technical elements
Preferred:
• Experience in working with SSRS is a plus
• Knowledge and/or hands on experience of Kronos upgrades is a big plus
