FedEx Ground Pick-Up & Delivery Driver

Tri-Star Transport | Arlington, TX
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $800 per week when working 5 days ($160/day)
Start Time: 7:45 AM
Schedule: Full-time; schedules vary and include weekends. 7-day-a-week operation.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a FedEx-branded step van or box truck.
  • Deliver and pick up packages from residential and commercial customers on an assigned local route.
  • Load, organize, and secure packages for safe and efficient delivery.
  • Use handheld scanners and mobile devices to complete deliveries and pickups.
  • Follow all DOT regulations, FedEx and Tri-Star Transport safety procedures.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service at every stop.
  • Complete daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
  • Load and unload packages at the terminal as needed.
  • Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records by scanning every package.
  • Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules.
Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience required. (Amazon DSP, UPS, FedEx, landscaping, towing, courier services, Uber, Lyft, Kroger Delivery, or similar driving positions)
  • No major moving violations or license suspensions within the past 3 years.
  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
  • Must pass required background checks and pre-employment/random drug screenings.
  • Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 150 lbs.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a daily delivery route.
  • Must be available for a schedule that includes weekends.
  • Must be available for a 7:45 AM daily start time.

Related experience is welcome: FedEx, UPS, Amazon DSP, package delivery, courier, moving companies, landscaping, towing, Kroger Delivery, Uber, Lyft, or other commercial/driving positions.
