Job description

Why Join Us
This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established anesthesiology group covering two southern TENET hospital campuses and a freestanding outpatient surgery center in Palm Beach County. You'll work in a clinically rich environment spanning Trauma Level I cases, nationally recognized endovascular and structural cardiovascular procedures, robotics, thoracoabdominal surgery, pediatrics, and OB - all at a Level II community hospital with a strong CRNA workforce and academic affiliations with FIU, Barry University, and FAU. With generous time off, a clear multi-year contract, and a team that takes pride in both clinical excellence and quality of life, this group has built something worth joining.
Position Highlights
  • Anesthesiology coverage across two hospital campuses - Delray Medical Center (DMC) and West Boca Medical Center (WBMC) - plus an outpatient surgery center
  • Combined OR capacity of 21 rooms at DMC (including cardiac) and 6 ORs + 2 OB rooms at WBMC, with an additional OR coming online
  • Team of 7 attending physicians with a 1:4 physician-to-CRNA ratio
  • 5 call days per month (24-hour shifts - main and OB); post-call physicians are not contacted unless staffing is critically short
  • Rotating batting order system for OB call - structured and transparent
  • Weekend coverage handled by a dedicated weekend team; night float in place at Delray for overnight coverage
  • Academic affiliations with FIU, Barry University (SRNAs), and Nova Southeastern (CAAs)
  • Call schedule published 3-4 weeks in advance
What We Offer
  • Highly competitive base salary - contact us for details
  • Additional shift compensation available at both DMC and WBMC beyond your scheduled assignment
  • $35,000 sign-on bonus, paid within 30 days of start date
  • Up to 45 days of PTO per year
  • $5,000 annual CME allowance
  • Malpractice insurance provided (tail coverage included)
  • Health, dental, and life insurance
  • 401(k) with employer matching
  • Deferred compensation program
  • Relocation assistance
Candidate Requirements
  • MD or DO degree
  • Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Florida
Why West Palm Beach

The area boasts top-rated schools, family-friendly communities, and a lower cost of living relative to Miami to the south, making it an ideal landing spot for physicians looking to plant roots. Outdoor enthusiasts will find endless options - boating, golf, tennis, and nature preserves - while the region's cultural calendar, including the Norton Museum of Art and the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, rivals cities twice its size. It's coastal Florida living at its most livable.
