Our KPMG Downtown Montreal and Brossard office, is looking for a Manager to join our dynamic team. Our teams of professionals help our clients manage risk so they can focus on their core business. By intimately understanding each client’s business, we convert information into insights to uncover hidden opportunities to improve client efficiency and performance.


What you will do
  • Oversee and manage various client assurance and tax engagements (Reviews & Compilations).
  • Manage engagements from planning to completion of statements and other deliverables.
  • Counsel, train and mentor assurance staff.
  • Working with clients and partners through complex issues to come up with appropriate solutions that meet your clients` needs.
  • Apply KPMG's assurance and accounting practices/methodologies on client engagements.

What you bring to the role
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Canadian CPA designation.
  • 5+ years of experience working in an accounting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE) and Canadian corporate and personal tax.
  • Previous experience with Reviews and Compilation Engagements.
  • Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand the business and develop strong relationships.
  • Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities.
  • Team player with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage staff through effective delegation and strong leadership qualities.
  • Strong mentoring and performance management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

The selected candidate must demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain and simplify complex audit and reporting matters for diverse audiences. Proficiency in English is required, as the position involves communicating and delivering presentations to clients and stakeholders at KPMG Canada in Englishspeaking regions of Canada.
