Overview

Position:ย Speech Language Pathologist - Pediatricsย 

Location: KORT Kids-Madison- 2420 Wilson Ave. Madison, IN 47250

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Compensation:ย commensurate with experience

KORT Physical Therapy is seeking a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our fun, collaborative, multi-disciplinary team!

We evaluate and treat a variety of pediatric patients with diagnoses ranging from developmental delay, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing, feeding disorders, speech and language delays, childhood apraxia of speech, articulation, and phonological disorders.ย 

This position offers strong mentorship in all areas of pediatric speech language pathology, including feeding therapy, AAC, and more. This role does require someone who has their SLP-CCC.

Responsibilities
  • Build Relationships: Provide quality patient care while maintaining a positive level of interaction with centers and patients.
  • Collaborative Approach: Coordinate treatment program in conjunction with other clinical/therapeutic services
  • Personalized Treatment: Evaluate assigned patients and establish appropriate treatment goals and programs to maximize outcomes. Provide ongoing evaluation of your patients' status and goals.
Qualifications
  • Meet American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) minimum standards for initiation Clinical Fellowship Year including but not limited to 36 credit hours in prescribed study.
  • State SLP licensure and ASHA certification is required.
  • 300 hours in prescribed clinical practicum experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • prior feeding experience
