KOOLER ICE, INC. is a leader in the ice vending machine industry and is seeking an energetic and professional self-starter for our fast-growing company located in Byron, GA.

This position requires travel, up to 60% during the summer months as well as passing a drug screen.

As a Field Service Representative II, generally you will perform the functions necessary to install, repair and service Kooler Ice vending machines. Your duties will include installing and repairing equipment, performing testing and checking equipment to ensure that performance quality and rates meet established specifications, performing regular preventive maintenance on machines, and other production duties you may be asked to perform. In addition, you will also be training and instructing customers and employees on machine operation and maintenance, as well as answering customer service calls, and therefore, excellent communication skills and a professional appearance are essential.

Your duties will include outside service calls where you will be required to travel to outside machine sites. Travel may be in Georgia but may also include interstate travel where overnight stays are required. Your travel may require the flexibility of working Saturday and/or Sunday as part of your work week, although every effort will be made to limit the need for this. Previous travel experience will be a plus.

When not in the field, you will report to the Kooler Ice plant facility and your work hours will generally be 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday with one hour for lunch. You will perform on-site production functions as well as answer customer service calls as part of your duties. You will also be required to periodically take weekend and evening service calls either by phone or by going to service a machine as required by your supervisor.

Each of these duties requires certain reporting and paperwork which must be completed accurately and on a timely basis and turned in to your supervisor as per Kooler Ice policy. Good computer and smart phones skills are a plus in this area.

Your responsibilities include all aspects of the duties listed above and will continue to expand and evolve as our product lines are developed. You will assist in a variety of functions that involve these duties, and the duties of this position will change according to the day to day needs of Kooler Ice management and production needs and processes, and so the position requires the individual to be versatile, adaptable, and willing to accommodate the needs of Kooler Ice scheduling, in addition to being physically able to perform all of the necessary tasks of each area of responsibility.

The position requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with at least 3 years of experience. An Associate degree in a Trade or Technology Certifications are a plus. You should have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within this field and have 3 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area. You will need to be able to demonstrate proficiency in various mechanical aptitude areas.

In addition, this position requires you to be proficient with a large variety of manual, electric and pneumatic tools. Your job functions include other duties including driving a service or delivery truck with trailer and lift truck, for which proof of a valid driver’s license and forklift training is required and must be maintained at all times.
