Job Overview
Supervise all activities involved in the receiving, binning, picking, packing and shipping of service parts for Komatsu Ripley Parts Operation.Includes all warehouse functions surrounding the efficient movement of service parts and operational supplies through the PDC. Will supervise directly from 15-40 employees and all company assets and equipment that are appropriate.
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for maintaining acceptable levels of productivity and quality within department to insure an efficient and profitable operation.
  • Develop and maintain good safety and housekeeping procedures within the department in accordance with company policy and government regulations.
  • Maintain an atmosphere of harmonious relations to prevent disputes from arising. If disputes do arise, act quickly to resolve them within company policies and government regulations.
  • Provide training, guidance, and counseling to immediate subordinates.
  • Administer established security procedures within the department for the protection of company assets.
  • Cooperate with other departments to foster a teamwork philosophy.
  • Job includes some weekend and evening hours.
  • Conduct communication meetings for all levels and display sound judgment.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required, college preferred, 2 years work experience in warehousing.
  • Mid-level CRT/PC skills.
  • Must embrace change as an opportunity.
  • Effective people skills.
  • Ability to delegate and prioritize.
  • Ability to analyze problems and make decisions for correction.
  • Willingness to continue education, training through seminars, college, etc.
  • Have an extreme sense of emergency.
  • Set standards high of performance for themselves and subordinates.

  • Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (life, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
