Knowledge Manager - Ground-Based Radar Digitzation (GBRD)

Leidos Defense Sector is seeking a Knowledge Manager to support the Ground-Based Radar (GBR) Digitization Program in Colorado Springs, CO. This critical modernization effort enhances the nation's missile warning, missile defense, and space domain awareness capabilities.

Misson Overview

The GBR Digitization Program is modernizing legacy radar systems across eight Ground-Based Radar sites responsible for continuous surveillance, detection, tracking, and reporting of missile and satellite activity. The program is implementing a common digital backend architecture and modernizing radar front-end systems to improve operational effectiveness, maintainability, and mission readiness across the enterprise.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Knowledge Management Strategy - Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise knowledge management solutions that support information sharing, collaboration, and mission execution across all GBR sites.

  • Information Governance - Establish and maintain metadata standards, taxonomies, document management practices, and governance processes to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and consistency of technical and programmatic information.

  • SharePoint & M365 Administration - Design, administer, and enhance SharePoint and Microsoft 365 environments, including sites, document libraries, workflows, dashboards, and collaboration portals.

  • Content & Configuration Management - Ensure content integrity, version control, and compliance with security requirements while managing technical documentation, engineering artifacts, lessons learned, and program deliverables.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration - Partner with program leadership, engineers, integrators, and government stakeholders to identify information needs and develop solutions that improve decision-making and operational efficiency.

  • Training & Adoption - Develop training materials, conduct user training, and promote adoption of knowledge management best practices across geographically dispersed teams.

  • Process Improvement - Support continuous improvement initiatives and establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of knowledge management activities.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Knowledge Management, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of relevant experience (additional experience, training, or certifications may substitute for degree).

  • US Citizen; Currently possesses an Active Secret Clearance.

  • Demonstrated experience managing enterprise collaboration platforms and document repositories within complex technical, engineering, defense, or government environments.

  • Extensive experience administering SharePoint and Microsoft 365, including site design, document libraries, workflows, and collaboration tools.

  • Proven ability to develop and implement knowledge management processes and support organizational change.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal communication skills.

  • Experience developing training materials and providing user support for KM tools and processes.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and related collaboration platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field.

  • Professional certifications in Knowledge Management, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Administration, Project Management, or IT Service Management.

  • Experience with USSF/SSC, missile warning/missile defense missions, or related operational communities.

  • Experience supporting digital engineering environments, including MBSE, systems integration, testing, and configuration management.

  • Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Jira, Confluence, and other enterprise collaboration and reporting tools.
