Job description

JOB SUMMARY:   

The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for leading the systems, processes, and cross-functional coordination that enable Marketing to operate as a scalable, high-performing organization. This role oversees marketing technology, performance measurement, and workflow optimization, while program managing key initiatives such as brand integration for acquisitions.  

This position partners across Marketing, Sales, and business functions to drive operational efficiency, improve visibility into performance, and ensure alignment across campaigns and initiatives. The manager serves as a central connector across teams, enabling better planning, execution, and delivery of marketing outcomes.

JOB DUTIES: 

  • Marketing Operations & Technology 
  • Own and manage marketing automation platforms, including campaign execution, workflows, and system optimization  
  • Establish and maintain marketing data governance, including lead routing, life cycle stages, and data quality standards  
  • Partner with Sales Operations to align marketing systems and CRM Customer Relationship Management (CRM) processes  
  • Measurement & Performance 
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting to track marketing performance, pipeline contribution, and campaign effectiveness 
  • Define and standardize key marketing KPIs and reporting frameworks  
  • Support attribution and pipeline visibility efforts in partnership with Sales and Finance 
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness and return on investment 
  • Program Management - Brand Integration (Acquisitions) 
  • Lead project management for brand integration of acquired companies 
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Marketing, Sales acquired brands, and business units 
  • Track deliverables, timelines, and dependencies across integration initiatives 
  • Ensure consistent execution of brand transitions, including messaging, website updates, and communications 
  • Cross-Functional Enablement 
  • Serve as a central connector across marketing functions to drive alignment and execution 
  • Partner with Corporate Communications, Industry Marketing, Product Marketing, Digital, and Creative teams to support campaigns and initiatives 
  • Enable improved planning, coordination, and communication across the marketing organization 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes. 

REQUIRED EDUCATION:   

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:    

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing operations, program management, or related roles 
  • Experience managing Hubspot marketing technology platforms (e.g., marketing automation, CRM systems) 
  • Experience in reporting, analytics, and performance measurement 
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional projects or programs 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: 

  • Strong understanding of marketing operations, systems, and processes 
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms and CRM tools 
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret performance data 
  • Proven project and program management capabilities 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously 
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills 
  • Ability to drive alignment and execution in a matrixed environment 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Experience supporting marketing organizations in a professional services or AEC environment 
  • Experience with acquisition integration or brand transition initiatives 
  • Experience working with sales and finance partners on pipeline and performance tracking 

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, OR TRAINING: (if applicable) 

  • Certifications in marketing automation, CRM platforms, or project management (e.g., HubSpot, PMP) 

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: 

  • Familiarity with data governance and life cycle management practices 
  • Experience building dashboards and reporting frameworks 
  • Understanding of demand generation and go-to-market processes 
  • Experience improving operational efficiency and workflow design
