Treasury Management Operations Manager

The hiring range for this opportunity is $83,800 to $115,000 annual salary along with incentive opportunities, creating a competitive total compensation package based on our pay scale, and may be modified by location and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Purpose of Job

This role leads the delivery and continuous improvement of Treasury Management Operations, with primary responsibility for client onboarding, implementations, and ongoing servicing of treasury and business online banking solutions. Reporting to the Director of Branch Operations and Treasury Management Operations, the manager partners cross-functionally with Treasury Management Officers, Relationship teams, and Retail Branches to ensure timely setup, issue resolution, and a consistent client experience. The position also collaborates with Product Management and Technology to support enhancements and system releases. As a risk and controls leader, the role ensures strong governance, compliance, and operational readiness while developing and leading a high-performing operations team.

Essential Duties

  • Treasury Management Operations lead the end-to-end onboarding and ongoing servicing of Treasury management products and services for Small Business clients.
  • Directs implementation function for Treasury Management products across all segments – including Small Business, Business Banking, Middle Market, and Commercial Banking – ensuring consistent execution, adherence to service level standards, implementation timelines, quality controls, and an exceptional client experience.
  • Responsible for Operational risk and controls for treasury services (e.g., ACH/NACHA, Wires, RDC), including due diligence/risk reviews within delegated authority, monitoring of higher-risk activity, and periodic customer/service reviews.
  • Maintain a strong control environment and ensure compliance with applicable requirements (e.g., BSA/AML, CIP/OFAC, GLBA) through current procedures, training, documentation, and audit/exam readiness.
  • Partner with Treasury Management Officers, Commercial and Business Banking Relationship teams, and Retail Branch partners to coordinate onboarding, servicing, and client communications; serve as an operations point of contact for urgent/complex requests.
  • Partner with Product Management and Technology to define operational requirements, data conversions, develop procedures, and test product/platform enhancements prior to release, support implementations and post-release stabilization.
  • Manage operational change management for treasury platforms, including issue management, periodic vendor reviews/due diligence, and release communications/training as needed.
  • Develop and lead the Treasury Management Operations team through hiring, coaching, training, workflow management, access controls oversight, and performance management.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Work Experience: 5 - 8 years banking experience with treasury/cash management products and services.
  • Supervisory/ Management Experience: 3 - 5 years people leadership experience with the ability to train, coach, and motivate a team.
  • Experience with project implementation, including partnering across departments to define requirements, set timelines, and deliver successful outcomes.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and client-facing communication.
  • Demonstrate strong organization and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient with PCs, Windows-based applications, Co-Pilot, and ChatGPT.
