Position Summary

Under the direction of the Loan Administration Manager, the VP/Loan Operations Manager manages the staff of the Loan Operations team which provides all core system input, new loans, renew loans, collateral tracking, escrow administration, construction loan draw processing, and various loan file maintenance.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Management of the day-to-day operations of the department
  • Supervision and development of Loan Operations employees
  • Distributes workflow to staff.
  • Train and direct department staff to ensure appropriate training needs are met.
  • Recommending, formulating, and implementing Loan Operations procedures.
  • Maintains knowledge and understanding of the Bank's Loan Policy and Loan Administration Procedures.
  • Prioritize workflow accordingly.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and establish development plans.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, customer service, and continuous improvement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education & Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of loan operations experience with a strong understanding of commercial, CRE, construction, consumer, and residential loan operations.
  • A minimum of 3 years supervisory or management experience.


Valued, but not Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in financial institution with assets greater than $1 billion.
  • Experience with Jack Henry Silverlake and related loan systems.
  • Experience with loan workflows
