Sodexo's Campus Segment is seeking a dynamic Food Operations Manager 3 to join our team at Southern Connecticut State University located in New Haven, CT. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily dining operations within a vibrant campus environment that includes residential dining, retail food venues, catering, and conference services.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a passion for developing teams, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving operational excellence. You'll play a key role in ensuring quality, safety, efficiency, and innovation across multiple dining locations while supporting the university's mission and Sodexo's commitment to service excellence.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and support daily food service operations across residential dining and retail venues.
  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences through strong customer service and hospitality standards.
  • Manage and develop frontline staff, providing coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Support financial performance by monitoring labor, food costs, inventory, and purchasing.
  • Maintain compliance with Sodexo standards, food safety regulations, HACCP, and sanitation requirements.
  • Collaborate with culinary, catering, and campus partners to execute special events and campus programs.
  • Drive operational efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and service execution.
  • Assist with scheduling, staffing plans, and employee engagement initiatives.
