Job description

Position Summary:

Leidos is seeking an experienced Knowledge Manager to provide senior-level knowledge management and information sharing support for government and defense programsoperatingwithin classified environments. The selected candidate will support the development, implementation, and administration of knowledge management strategies, collaboration platforms, information workflows, and organizational data-sharing processes that enhance operational effectiveness and mission execution.

The Knowledge Manager is responsible for supporting the administration, organization, maintenance, and optimization of knowledge management systems and information-sharing environments across the organization. This role manages and maintains systems and infrastructure that support the collection, storage, accessibility, and dissemination of organizational knowledge and operational information. Responsibilities may include configuring and supporting collaboration platforms, maintaining system performance, implementing best practices for information management, supporting data integrity and recovery processes, and troubleshooting technical or process-related issues affecting knowledge-sharing capabilities.

This position will work closely with program leadership, operational teams, technical personnel, and government stakeholders to ensure critical information, documentation, lessons learned, and operational knowledge are effectively organized,maintained, protected, and accessible to authorized users. The ideal candidate willpossessstrong communication, analytical, organizational, and technical collaboration skills with experience supporting secure and mission-focused environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, andmaintainknowledge management processes, procedures, and collaboration strategies supporting program and mission operations.
  • Manage andmaintainknowledge repositories, document libraries, collaboration portals, and information-sharing platforms within classified environments.
  • Organize, catalog, andmaintainoperational documentation, technical artifacts, lessons learned, and program records to support accessibility and information continuity.
  • Support information governance, records management, and data organization activitiesin accordance withgovernment and organizational requirements.
  • Coordinate with program leadership, operational teams, engineering personnel, and government stakeholders tofacilitateinformation sharing and collaboration.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, briefings, process documentation, and communication materials supporting program operations and decision-making.
  • Analyze existing workflows and recommend process improvements to enhance information management efficiency and operational effectiveness.
  • Support training and user guidance activities related to collaboration tools, document management systems, and knowledge-sharing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, classification handling, data protection, and information security requirements.
  • Support continuity of operations activities through effective information retention, documentation management, and knowledge transfer initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of prior relevant experience;additionalexperience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience supporting knowledge management, records management, collaboration platforms, or information-sharing initiatives within government or defense environments.
  • Experience using collaboration and content management tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Confluence, Jira, or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and documentation management skills.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI security clearancerequired.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or classified operational programs.
  • Knowledge of records management policies, information governance practices, and classified information handling procedures.
  • Experience developing executive briefings, operational reports, dashboards, and workflow automation solutions.
  • Familiarity with data analytics, reporting tools, and digital collaboration environments.
  • Professional certifications related to knowledge management, project management, records management, or information systems.
