Job Title:Food Service AttendantDepartment:Alamo ComplexReports To:Alamo ManagerStatus: SeasonalAge:14 years or older
SUMMARY
The primary purpose of a Food Service Attendant is to assist guests with their food/drink order, answer questions, run the cash register, and maintain a clean workstation. Alamo Complex consists of the following stands: Front Counter, Fresh French Fry, Lemon, Oasis Cafeteria, Oasis Pizza, Pool Refreshments, Potato Cakes, and Roast Beef. This is a seasonal position, reporting to the Alamo Manager.
Park's operational summer hours are typically Sunday through Tuesday 12pm to 8pm and Wednesday through Saturday 12pm to 9pm. During the parks season, evening and weekend hours are required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare food items, if appropriate, prior to orders being taken
  • Take food and drink orders
  • Serve guest food or drink orders accurately
  • Accurately ring up sale in cash register
  • Receive correct money or tickets and give correct change
  • Stock food and supplies as needed

KEY COMPETENCIES
  • Candidate should possess strong communication skills, high degree of integrity, positive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to solve problems
  • Candidate should have the ability to build strong relationships with guests, provide a high level of guest service, and be an effective member of a team
