Job description

TradeWise Staffing Group is hiring an experienced Low Voltage Technician for fire alarm and life safety work on a commercial project in Glendale, AZ. If you've worked in low voltage, fire alarm, security, or access control and you know your way around fire alarm systems, we want to talk. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity — prove yourself on the job and land a permanent spot with a stable contractor.


Pay: $30–$40/hr depending on experience


What you'll do:

  • Install, wire, and terminate fire alarm and low voltage systems on a commercial build
  • Rough-in and install initiating devices, notification appliances (NAC), and control panels
  • Program and troubleshoot addressable fire alarm panels
  • Read and interpret fire alarm plans, riser diagrams, and specifications
  • Test and commission fire alarm and life safety systems to code
  • Follow NFPA 72, NEC, and OSHA jobsite safety standards


What we're looking for:

  • Experience as a Low Voltage Technician, Fire Alarm Technician, Fire Alarm Installer, or Life Safety Technician
  • Hands-on with fire alarm panels — Notifier, Simplex, Gamewell, EST, Silent Knight, FireLite, or Kidde a strong plus
  • Fire alarm programming, device installation, and terminations experience
  • NICET certification (Level I–IV) preferred but not required
  • Low voltage license, OSHA 10/30 a plus
  • Ability to read blueprints and life safety plans
  • Reliable transportation, own hand tools, and strong attendance
  • Must pass background check and drug screen
