Job Location - San Antonio, TX (100% onsite role)

Job Description:

Role Overview

The Manufacturing Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for scoping problems, brainstorming solutions, specifying equipment, managing equipment relocation, obtaining quotes, supporting the purchasing process, overseeing installation, and validating tools and processes against defined targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scope problems and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Brainstorm and develop innovative solutions for manufacturing processes.
  • Specify equipment requirements and prepare detailed documentation.
  • Coordinate equipment relocation and ensure proper installation.
  • Obtain quotes and support the purchasing process for required equipment.
  • Oversee installation and commissioning of equipment.
  • Validate tools and processes to ensure results meet defined targets.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in relevant automotive or trucking environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Education Criteria:

  • All engineers must hold a 4-year engineering degree in their respective discipline.

Preferred Skills:
