You'll earn $24+/hour, workday shift Monday–Thursday, all while keeping your long weekends free for life outside of work.

The Role – Skilled Welder/Fabricator

As a Welder/Fabricator at Klute, you'll be part of a team building high-quality steel components for substation and transmission line projects nationwide. You'll take pride in precision, craftsmanship, and building infrastructure that powers communities.


What You'll Do:

  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Lay out, position, align, and tack components
  • Perform high-quality GMAW welds
  • Ensure products meet exact dimensional and quality specifications
  • Use measuring tools to confirm proper fit-up before welding
  • Operate a fork truck to move materials between workstations
  • May assist with oxy-fuel cutting, grinding, handheld plasma cutting, and hand tools
  • Become certified to operate an overhead crane
  • Complete production and quality documentation
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Report unsafe conditions or nonconforming products to leadership
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
What We're Looking For:
  • AAS in Welding preferred (but not required)
  • 5+ years of welding/fabrication experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a production environment
