What is a kitting associate?

A kitting associate is a worker responsible for assembling and organizing parts or products into kits for shipment or production. They typically work in warehouses or manufacturing environments, using tools like barcode scanners and following safety protocols to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Kitting Associate, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Kitting Associate, you need strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and proficiency in inventory management, usually supported by a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanners, and packing equipment is commonly required.
