The team you will be a part of
The Supply and Logistics team is responsible for keeping the appropriate levels of materials and/or stock supplies with the aim to maximize inventory control and company sales. Organizes deliveries to meet given deadlines and customer expectations. Supervises and tracks the flow of materials and products from suppliers throughout the organization.
This role in summary
This role supports US and Mexico manufacturing and is overall responsible for administration and management of the NAR inbound materials packaging program, through vendor management, cross functional partnership, and indirect leadership. You'll have P&L responsibility for a multi-million dollar budget that supports returnable packaging purchases, maintenance, and other related projects. You'll lead and support network wide projects to enforce NAR packaging standards, continuously improve processes, and foster standard adherence and best practice sharing.
Your responsibilities will include
  • Management of the returnable packaging flow, working with part suppliers, transportation partners, service providers, and plant level materials teams, to drive continuous improvement activities utilizing lean principles.
  • Project management of new packaging designs, lean projects including business case development, piloting solutions and final implementation
  • PC Portal Support and Whirlpack Solution business lead - build, maintain, and support functionality of systems and enhancements
  • Tasks / Project Support for 14 plants - Leader of NAR Materials SAP/System core team

Minimum requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably Packaging Engineering or Industrial Engineering)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain concepts and parts flow.
  • Project management experience is an asset. P&L responsibility is a plus.
  • Supply Chain Management, Knowledge of Industry Standards for Packaging

Preferred skills and experiences
  • Understanding of lean concepts.
  • Understands and employs basic change management methodology.
  • Uses logic and problem solving tools to develop plans to meet targets and look forward proactively and to prioritize.
  • Can lead conversations with suppliers in a proactive, productive manner.
  • Use of Google Tools (Google: Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms & Drawings).
