Job Description

Wood Contracting Inc. is seeking an experienced Kitchen Remodeling Specialist to join our team working on high-quality residential kitchen renovation projects throughout Chicago. This role involves hands‑on work in all aspects of kitchen remodeling, from demolition through finished carpentry and installation. You will work directly with owner Dillon Wood on projects where attention to detail and craftsmanship are paramount.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform kitchen demolition while protecting surrounding areas and maintaining clean work sites.
  • Install custom cabinetry, countertops, backsplashes, and kitchen fixtures to exact specifications.
  • Execute framing modifications, drywall installation, and finish carpentry for kitchen renovations.
  • Coordinate with plumbers and electricians to ensure proper placement of fixtures and appliances.
  • Install kitchen flooring including tile, hardwood, and luxury vinyl materials.
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with Chicago building codes.
  • Maintain professional communication with homeowners throughout the renovation process.
  • Keep job sites organized, clean, and safe for both workers and residents.
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise and implement solutions efficiently.
