Job description

At Chick-fil-A, our Kitchen Director plays a key role in leading the kitchen and ensuring operational excellence. They are responsible for overseeing food quality, food safety, speed, cleanliness, training, systems, and kitchen leadership. They do this through developing leaders, improving processes, maintaining Chick-fil-A standards, and creating a strong kitchen culture. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, hardworking, self-motivated, and passionate about leading people and building a high-performing team.

Schedule and Hours:

  • Full-Time
  • Monday - Wednesday and Saturday (Off Thursday and Sunday)

  • Lead and oversee daily kitchen operations with excellence
  • Ensure food quality, food safety, cleanliness, speed, and accuracy are consistently maintained
  • Develop, coach, and support kitchen leaders and team members
  • Create and maintain systems for training, positioning, communication, and accountability
  • Partner with restaurant leadership to achieve business goals and operational priorities
  • Monitor kitchen performance and look for opportunities to improve results
  • Support inventory, ordering, product rotation, waste reduction, and food cost control
  • Ensure Chick-fil-A standards, procedures, and food safety requirements are followed
  • Lead through busy meal periods with urgency, clarity, and composure
  • Build a strong kitchen culture focused on excellence, teamwork, and growth
  • Uphold Chick-fil-A's culture, values, standards, policies, and dress code
  • Support restaurant operations and other duties as assigned
