Hiring: Assistant Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef
Pay: $50,000 - $65,000 DOE
Location: Dallas, TX
E Bar Tex Mex, a vibrant and locally-loved restaurant in Dallas, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef to join our team. What You'll Do:
- Support daily kitchen operations to ensure food quality, consistency, and efficiency
- Assist in leading, coaching, and developing BOH team members
- Help oversee prep, inventory, food cost, and kitchen organization
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- Ensure recipes, plating, and quality standards are consistently followed
- Step in to support kitchen leadership and help drive a positive team culture
What We’re Looking For:
- Assistant KM or Sous Chef experience, preferably in a full-service, high-volume setting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- TABC Certified
- Passion for Tex-Mex cuisine and delivering unforgettable dining experiences.
