Job Title: Kitchen Staff

Job Summary:
Kitchen staff assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen. They support chefs and cooks to ensure efficient kitchen operations and high-quality food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring food items.

  • Assist cooks and chefs with food preparation and cooking tasks.

  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, workstations, and storage areas.

  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools.

  • Store food properly and monitor inventory levels.

  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.

  • Dispose of waste and recycle materials according to company procedures.

  • Receive and organize deliveries of food and supplies.

  • Help with food plating and presentation when required.

  • Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Good time-management and organizational abilities.

  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.

  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.

  • Previous kitchen or food service experience is preferred but not always required.
