Job description

Assistant Kitchen Manager

 

Love wings and sports? Join our family, have fun and take pride in your work. Native Grill & Wings is looking for an Kitchen Manager. As a Kitchen Manager you would be responsible for the back of house restaurant operations and report to the General Manager of the restaurant. You will oversee the entire back of house operation and be responsible for making sure that Native Grill & Wings food standards are adhered to at all times. If you are an experienced kitchen manager that has passion for running a top notch operation, apply today!

As Kitchen Manager, your responsibilities would include helping the General Manager with:

·        Manage hourly back of house employees, including conducting performance evaluations, coaching and discipline

·        Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring back of house employees 

·        Directing work for employees including setting hours and weekly schedules and assigning tasks before, during and after open hours of the restaurant

·        Doing food orders according to pars 

·        Providing, directing and scheduling back of house training

·        Supervise and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures

·        Plating dishes according to Native Grill & Wings plate presentations

·        Conducting formal line Taste& Temps

·        Enforcing appropriate security measures at the restaurant so that the safety of our employees and guests are maintained at all times

·        Manage food costs by conducting bi-weekly inventory

·        Understanding, managing, and practicing safe food handling procedures

·        Maintaining a positive, consistent, open working environment
