Job description

Kiddie Academy of Bothell, an Educational Child Care & Preschool, is looking for a Kitchen Support.

We pride ourselves on serving nutritious, wholesome meals and snacks cooked using as many fresh/local/organic ingredients as possible. We are looking for a Kitchen Helper for our chef who cooks healthy, delicious meals for all children at our academy.

Essential Functions:

  • Organizes kitchen, including sorting all dishes and preparing dishes for the following day.
  • Removes trays and leftovers from classrooms and disposes accordingly.
  • Determines the snack count and distributes PM snack in each classroom.
  • Keeps kitchen, including appliances, cabinets organized and clean.
  • Help with other kitchen duties as assigned.
  • Cleans and stocks dishware, kitchen utensils and carts; operating the cleaning equipment.

An ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 1 year of Kitchen helper experience
  • Experience in school/pre-school will be a plus
  • Strong customer service mindset
  • Food training in sanitation, food safety, nutrition, food preparation
  • Food Handler's Permit as required by WA state
