WHAT YOUR ROLE INVOLVES
- Assist cooks in the preparation of ingredients and dishes according to established standards
- Participate in the mise en place and organization of workstations
- Support the brigade during service, particularly during peak periods
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation and food safety standards (MAPAQ)
- Maintain the cleanliness of equipment, utensils and work areas
- Collaborate closely with all members of the kitchen team
- Perform any other related tasks contributing to the smooth operation of the kitchen
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- DEP in culinary arts or equivalent training (asset)
- Experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment (asset)
- Knowledge of MAPAQ standards
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, autonomy and team spirit
- Speed of execution and ability to work under pressure
- Strong interest in the culinary field
