Position Overview:
As the General Manager at Seis Kitchen, you will be responsible for the overall operation and success of the restaurant. This includes managing daily operations, driving sales and profitability, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and leading a dynamic team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff. You will uphold Seis Kitchen's standards of excellence in hospitality, food quality, and team culture while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Responsibilities including but not limited to:
• Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure a smooth, efficient, and profitable shift.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members across all departments to uphold performance standards and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure outstanding guest service and promptly resolve any customer concerns or issues.
• Manage labor and food cost targets while maintaining quality and service standards.
• Monitor inventory, place orders, and control waste to optimize cost and efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, labor laws, and company policies.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities for staff.
• Schedule staff effectively based on business needs, labor goals, and employee availability.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations leadership to implement local promotions and initiatives.
• Create and maintain a culture that reflects Seis Kitchen's mission, values, and commitment to excellence.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in a restaurant general management or leadership role required.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including front and back of house procedures.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Experience with labor scheduling, inventory management, and cost control.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Physical Requirements:
• **Standing and Walking for Extended Periods:** General Managers are frequently on their feet, monitoring operations and interacting with team members and guests.
• **Lifting and Carrying:** Ability to lift and transport supplies, food, and equipment up to 50 pounds.
