Job description

Great news! Schillings is currently looking for a Kitchen & Bath Sales Designer at our Mokena, IL location. We offer competitive pay along with a full package of benefits and opportunities for advancement. This position will be full-time with no nights or Sundays. Apply today!

Responsibilities:

  • Check orders/designs for accuracy
  • Filing, faxing, copying, laminating, maintaining clean displays, answering phones, calling back phone messages, typing invoices, etc.
  • Greet all customers (with a smile) as they walk in and provide assistance
  • Clean the showroom on a regular basis
  • Obtain and maintain product knowledge on all products sold in the kitchen and bath department as well as our flooring products offered
  • Know all brands offered and how to price
  • Efficiently create designs and generate sales reports
  • Create perspective and elevation views
  • Process orders, special orders, estimates, and returns accurately and efficiently

Education/Required Skills:

  • Strong computer and customer service skills (in-person, phone and email)
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent math skills
  • Must be proficient with 20/20 design program
  • Keep a positive attitude and be a team player
  • Obtain and maintain product knowledge on all products sold in the kitchen and bath department
  • Have an ability to read blue prints
  • Have the best interest of the company in mind at all times
  • Be innovative and provide suggestions for improvement in own department and observations of other departments
  • Willingness to follow any other tasks from the management or Schilling family
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen
  • Proficient scoring on all candidate testing
