Job Summary:
Cabinetry Designer & Sales Specialists are responsible for meeting with customers to understand their needs in regards to designing a kitchen, bath, or other living space.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
  1. Establishing new business and maintaining relationships with builders, remodelers and installers
  2. Scheduling appointments with customers at showroom or at the jobsite
  3. Consulting with contractors and customers
  4. Assisting customers or contractors with product selections
  5. Performing onsite measures
  6. Designing layouts with 20/20 Design software as requested from blueprints or sketches
  7. Preparing job quotations
  8. Placing orders, checking acknowledgements, and scheduling deliveries
  9. Communicating with inside support staff and yard staff
  10. Meeting with vendor reps and attending trade shows or seminars to stay current with the kitchen and bath market

Requirements
  1. Requires an associate's degree in design and 2+ years of related job experience or 2-4 year degree related to business or construction industry.
  2. Mathematical skills required to add, subtract, multiply, divide, measurements of square foot and cubic foot
  3. Knowledge of design software
  4. Requires great oral and written communication skills in order to interact with employees and customers
