Job description

Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented designer and Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will create plans for lower levels, kitchens and bathrooms as well as providing essential support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. You will create and maintain job schedules. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, proficiency in various office technologies, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position is crucial for maintaining efficient administrative processes and enhancing overall productivity. Our small family run business needs someone to be onsite in our showroom and help with customers. Have some design/remodeling experience or a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Manage phone systems and direct calls to appropriate personnel
  • Oversee front desk operations, greeting visitors and managing inquiries.
  • Coordinate calendar management for meetings, appointments, and job scheduling system
  • Type proposals and contracts.
  • Order and track project supplies
  • Maintain organized filing systems for documents and records.
  • Type correspondence, reports, and other documents with accuracy.
  • Proofread documents to ensure clarity and correctness before distribution.
  • Implement organizational strategies to improve office efficiency.

Requirements

  • Experience with Home Designer Pro and Buildertrend a definite plus.
  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
