ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Kitchen Assistant/Dishwasher at KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot, you are the engine that keeps the restaurant moving. You will be instrumental in helping to create a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. This position is perfect for someone who loves interacting with people and thrives in a lively, fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to KPOT's standards.
  • Assist in food preparation and ensure all ingredients are fresh and ready for service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to coordinate timely service.
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Manage time to ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and all dishes are ready for use.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by fostering teamwork and collaboration.
  • Assist with side work and opening/closing tasks.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with the front-of-house and management regarding allergy orders.
  • Maintain a positive, energetic, and hospitality-focused attitude at all times.
  • Be a team player, assisting other team members whenever needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours per shift).
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25-50 pounds.
