Night Kitchen Manager

Location: OTR or Walnut Hills

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Evening and Overnight Shifts, including weekends

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen operations during evening and overnight hours. The ideal candidate will oversee kitchen staff, maintain food quality and safety standards, manage inventory, and ensure smooth operations during late-night service. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support all night kitchen staff, including cooks, prep staff, and dishwashers

Ensure food is prepared, plated, and served according to company standards

Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with health and safety regulations

Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed

Manage kitchen opening/closing procedures for overnight operations

Train, coach, and evaluate kitchen team members

Resolve staff or operational issues quickly and professionally

Maintain labor efficiency and help control food costs and waste

Coordinate with front-of-house staff and daytime management for smooth shift transitions

Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report maintenance issues promptly

Qualifications

Previous kitchen management or supervisory experience required
