Job description

The Warehouse Associate supports the flow of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods throughout the facility. A significant portion of this role involves accurately picking, packing, and preparing outbound orders, often serving as the final checkpoint to ensure product quality and order accuracy before shipment. This position also supports green coffee receiving and staging operations.
Pay Rate is $19.25/hour.

Requirements

  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring quality and correctness
  • Serve as a final quality checkpoint to identify and prevent errors before orders leave the facility
  • Receive, inspect, and unload inbound materials, including green coffee beans and packaging supplies
  • Verify lot numbers and maintain traceability throughout all warehouse processes
  • Load green coffee beans into bulk containers to support roasting operations
  • Perform truck inspections to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Move and stage materials internally to support production and maintain workflow efficiency
  • Accurately assist with cycle counts and inventory control
  • Label, store, restack, and rework inventory as needed
  • Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse throughout the shift
Expectations
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Maintain consistent attendance, punctuality, and reliability
  • Experience operating forklifts and electric/manual pallet jacks desired
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements (bending, reaching, twisting, etc.)
  • Ability to push or pull heavy loads with assistance when needed
  • Comfortable climbing ladders and operating warehouse equipment
  • Basic math and reading skills required
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office or similar systems)

  • Follow SQF, GMP, and all VCC safety and operational procedures
