Job description

Brubaker Performance specializes in GM performance auto repair and upgrades. Head & Cam packages, DOD deletes, power adder, suspension, drivetrain, supercharger kit installation, custom LS engine building, crate engine swaps, dyno tuning and much more.

We are looking to hire an experienced GM performance / Classic Car Automotive Technician to join our team. If you have not worked on vehicles before, please do not apply. This is not an entry level job. This is not a job for a regular mechanic just needing a paycheck. This is a job for someone who enjoys this as a hobby and a lifestyle.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years experience working as an automotive technician
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Must have basic tools
  • Must be able to research, follow procedures and instructions to diagnosis and repair.
  • Must be able to stand and work for periods of time. This is a labor intensive job.
  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic components of vehicles
  • Detail Oriented, strong mechanical, chassis and automotive repair knowledge
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Team oriented
  • Welding and fabrication skills is a plus but not required
  • Experience in GM performace and GM classic muscle cars is a MUST
  • Passion for high performance and racing is a must.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday from 9am-6pm. No weekends.

1 week paid vacation (after 1 year of employment) and basic holidays off. If possible, we try to close for 1 week during Christmas.

Pay will be based on experience.
