Job description

Position Summary
Pick and kit jobs per assembly/shop orders and move to next operation, stock parts through work orders and moves to either stock, shipping or assembly. Work in a team environment meeting quality standards and working efficiency. Overtime is require at times.
Principal Activities
  • Receive purchased component items using Vantage system
  • Put away all inbound materials
  • Accurately pick jobs daily per assembly/shop orders.
  • Kit Jobs/issue material in ERP system.
  • Stock parts through work orders and moves to either stock, shipping or assembly
  • Enters transactions into our ERP system and ensures accuracy of data
  • Operate forklift to load and unload trucks as well as move materials
  • Help with stocking materials as needed.
  • Assures all work performed is within safety guidelines and parameters.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records on all raw materials; process all required paperwork pertaining to materials
  • Investigate and resolve manufacturing work order/production part discrepancies and inventory reconciliation.
  • Sort and place materials on racks, shelves or in bins according to the prime location and space available
  • Maintain work area to ensure maintain 6s work environment.
  • Perform other duties as necessary
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
  • 1~3 years of experience in warehouse/stockroom.
  • ERP System Proficiency
  • EHS Awareness
  • Effective communication and problem solving skills
  • Count Accuracy
  • Must support and work in a team environment
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs on a frequent basis and be able to work standing and walking most of the day
Education & Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Fork truck certified
  • Must have good reading skills and basic math skills
