ARSIEM is looking for a DevOps Engineer to automate, optimize, and enhance the deployment and management of Bespin cloud engagement kits. These positions focus on building robust CI/CD pipelines, maintaining source control repositories, and implementing infrastructure-as-code practices to ensure consistent, scalable, and stable deployments. This position will support one of our Government clients in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated engagement kit deployment
  • Manage source control and code repositories for infrastructure configurations
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of cloud resources
  • Enhance kit capabilities through automation and optimization initiatives
  • Collaborate with architects and administrators to streamline deployment processes
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions
  • Support troubleshooting and performance optimization during active operations
  • Maintain version control and change management processes
  • Develop automation scripts and tools to reduce manual effort
  • Ensure consistency and repeatability across engagement kit deployments
  • Participate in security hardening and compliance automation efforts
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or High School diploma and 7+ years of directly relevant experience
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, automation, or software engineering roles
  • Strong proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
  • Experience with CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
  • Expertise in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  • Knowledge of Git and version control best practices
  • Experience with AWS cloud services and APIs
  • Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with configuration management and automation tools
  • Strong understanding of Linux/Unix systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, ECS)
  • Knowledge of security automation and compliance-as-code
  • Experience supporting operational or mission-critical environments
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  • Background in software development or systems engineering
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
  • Desired Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar certification    
Clearance Requirement: This position requires an Active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry on Duty (EOD) Suitability.
