Who We Are

We’re a plastic processing manufacturer with a hands-on team culture built on clarity, ownership, and consistent execution. We operate with integrated systems that support communication, traceability, and performance tracking across the plant.

Our environment is structured, fast-paced, and team-oriented. We value leaders who build stability, develop people, and drive results through systems—not emotion or workarounds.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a hands-on leader who leads by example on the floor—coaching operators, enforcing standards, and driving consistent execution across shifts.

Top candidates come from high-accountability manufacturing environments (automotive, aerospace, medical, etc.) where precision, traceability, and process discipline are required.

This role is best suited for someone who:

·Takes ownership of outcomes

·Works effectively across departments

·Builds structure, clarity, and repeatable processes

·Is comfortable being both a leader and a primary operator

Job Summary

The Fabrication Supervisor leads daily operations in the Fabrication Department, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient production.

This is a hands-on leadership role where the supervisor is expected to operate equipment, support the team directly, and maintain ownership of output, quality, and standards.

Leadership & Coordination

·Lead a team of 4 across three shifts; ensure smooth transitions and consistent expectations

·Run daily morning briefs to align priorities and reinforce standards

·Coach operators through hands-on support and real-time feedback

·Drive accountability through clear expectations, follow-up, and consistency

·Communicate effectively across departments while respecting defined roles and responsibilities

·Use KPI dashboards and production data to monitor performance and drive improvements

Fabrication & Equipment

·Serve as or develop into the primary CNC operator, including setup, offsets, and troubleshooting

·Optimize layouts, nesting, and machine utilization

·Support roll-cut operations and train team members on equipment use

·Manage fabrication queue to meet production and shipping deadlines

·Coordinate with maintenance for machine issues and preventative care

Safety & Quality

·Enforce PPE, safe work practices, and organized work areas (5s)

·Train team members on equipment, procedures, and product handling

·Maintain traceability, labeling accuracy, and process discipline

·Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions

·Ensure consistent data entry and adherence to standards

Material Handling & Logistics

·Support material flow, staging, and coordination with shipping and logistics

·Maintain inventory accuracy through proper labeling, traceability, and Kanban systems

·Operate forklifts as needed

Technical & Systems Expectations

·Experience operating or working closely with manufacturing equipment (CNC experience preferred but not required)

·Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn CNC operation and troubleshooting

·Familiarity with process optimization, tooling, and machine performance improvement

·Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred), production tracking tools, and Microsoft Office

·Comfortable working within structured digital workflows (Asana, Teams, etc.)

Qualifications

·4+ years leading teams in a manufacturing or production environment

·Proven ability to drive accountability, structure, and team performance

·Experience in high-precision or high-accountability manufacturing environments preferred

·Demonstrated ability to solve problems through process

·Ability to perform physical job functions including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, operating equipment, and actively supporting floor operations as a hands-on leader

Compensation & Expectations

This is a salary-based leadership role designed for individuals who take full ownership of department performance.

Compensation includes:

·Base Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

·Performance Bonus: Paid monthly and tied to key department performance metrics, including production stability, quality, team performance, and system execution

This structure is designed to reward consistent, system-driven performance, team stability, and overall department ownership.

·401(k) with 3% company match

·9 paid holidays annually

·Weekly pay schedule

·2 weeks PTO in the first year (prorated); 3 weeks PTO after 5 years

·Day shift with occasional support on second and third shifts
