These nurses provide direct patient care, administer medications, monitor patient progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans. Kindred Hospital RNs often care for patients with complex medical needs, such as those recovering from serious illnesses, surgeries, or injuries, and play a vital role in helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes.

What kind of interdisciplinary collaboration can an RN expect at Kindred Hospital?

As a Kindred Hospital RN, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, case managers, and other nurses to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Regular team meetings and collaborative care planning are essential, as patients often have complex, long-term medical needs. Open communication and shared decision-making are encouraged to ensure continuity of care and the best possible outcomes for patients. This collaborative environment not only enhances patient care but also provides valuable learning and professional growth opportunities for RNs.

To thrive as a Kindred Hospital RN, you need a solid background in clinical nursing, patient assessment, and care planning, supported by a current RN license and preferably some experience in acute or long-term care settings. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs), telemetry monitoring, and IV therapy equipment is typically required.
