LOCATION: DB Bunce Elementary School in Pavilion, NY

PAY RATE: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Schedule: Follows the school calendar

Morning Program: 7:00 - 8:45 am

Afternoon Program: 3:30 - 6:00 pm

Opportunities may be available for morning, afternoon, or both programs.

JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring School-Age Childcare Staff for our Before and After School Program at DB Bunce Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year.

Position Responsibilities

  • Facilitate hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework completion.
  • Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children in the program.
  • Observe state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
  • Support program operations, which may include attendance records, registration, and staffing responsibilities.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, OR at least 1 year of experience working with children under the age of 13.
  • Required health clearance, including TB screening, in accordance with state regulations.
  • Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
  • Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds while actively engaging with children throughout the day.
