About Circuit Works
Circuit Works is a dynamic, community-driven fitness studio in Santa Monica offering HIIT, strength training, Reformer Pilates, Mat Pilates, Yoga, Kickboxing, recovery services, and more.
We’re looking for an energetic, charismatic Kickboxing / Boxing Instructor who knows how to lead a room, motivate clients, and deliver a fun, challenging, and safe workout.
The Position
We are hiring a part-time instructor to lead 60-minute group Kickboxing / Boxing classes for up to 10 clients.
Our classes are fitness-focused and designed for a variety of experience and fitness levels. The ideal instructor can combine proper boxing/kickboxing technique with an upbeat, high-energy group fitness experience.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
  • Energetic & charismatic – You know how to command a room and keep clients motivated.
  • Experienced in boxing/kickboxing – You can confidently teach proper technique, combinations, footwork, and form.
  • A strong communicator – You provide clear instructions, demonstrations, and corrections.
  • Client-focused – You're friendly, approachable, encouraging, and committed to creating a great member experience.
  • Reliable & professional – You arrive prepared and on time and communicate effectively with the team.
  • A team player – You're willing to help cover classes for fellow instructors when your schedule allows.
Preferred: At least 1 year of group Kickboxing, Boxing, or fitness instruction experience.
Responsibilities
  • Lead safe, effective, and high-energy 60-minute Kickboxing / Boxing classes.
  • Demonstrate proper technique, combinations, and movement.
  • Provide modifications for different fitness and experience levels.
  • Correct form and help clients train safely.
  • Motivate and engage clients throughout the entire class.

Compensation
Circuit Works uses a performance-based instructor pay structure that rewards instructors as they develop strong classes, increase attendance, and demonstrate consistent performance.
Tier 1 – New Instructor
Starting compensation with the opportunity to earn up to $50 per class

Tier 2 – Strong Instructor
For instructors demonstrating strong attendance, client feedback, reliability, and performance
Up to $55 per class

Tier 3 – Top Performer
For instructors consistently delivering exceptional classes and building strong attendance
Up to $60 per class

Instructor performance and tier placement are reviewed periodically based on factors including class attendance, client feedback, reliability, professionalism, and overall performance.
