Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Atlanta, GA that is seeking a hybrid Senior Product Manager to join their team, with strong warehouse operations experience to support a major SAP EWM conversion within a large distribution center environment. This role sits at the intersection of physical DC operations, WMS systems, and SAP EWM, and will be highly hands-on, especially during early discovery.
Summary:
You will partner closely with IT and business stakeholders to understand current-state operations, support parallel workstreams, and help guide the transition from a legacy WMS to SAP EWM while both systems run in parallel. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who started their career inside the four walls of a distribution center and later transitioned into project or product management.
Key Tasks:
* Lead discovery across business and IT within active distribution centers
* Work closely with SAP EWM while supporting a legacy WMS running in parallel
* Partner with an existing EWM manager and support multiple related initiatives
* Help define requirements, concepts of operation, and future-state processes
Support and coordinate workstreams including:
* Early routing
* Sourcing logic enhancements
* Event management for order visibility
* Overages, shortages, and spoilage workflows
* Participate in on-site DC walkthroughs to understand physical operations
* Contribute to BRDs, potential FSDs, and solution prototyping as needed
* Coordinate across business, IT, and operations to keep initiatives moving forward
REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum 5 years total experience; 10+ years preferred
* Strong 4-walls distribution center experience
* Blue Yonder WMS experience acceptable if can transition to SAP quickly
* Hands-on WMS experience (required)
* SAP experience is a strong plus; SAP EWM experience ideal
* Prior experience as a DC supervisor or lead
* Progression into project management, product management, or a hybrid role
* Comfortable working onsite in active DC environments
* Flexible, execution-focused, and not tied to titles
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
