Keytronic Oakdale, MN facility is seeking a Test Technician who will conduct a variety of tests/ diagnostics on electronic printed circuit boards and assemblies. Follows company FOD, ESD, 5S, and safety regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)
  • Ability to read basic blue prints and schematics.
  • Ability to identify electronic components used on printed circuit boards.
  • Trouble shoots electronic and mechanical problems at ICT level.
  • Ability to use a Multi Meter.
  • Competency with test and repair equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand work routers, bill of materials, assembly drawings, component identification, and component polarity.

SUPERVISION GIVEN/RECEIVED
Is supervised by the QA Manager and has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, talk, hear, and see. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or reach with hands and arms. The environment is fast-paced, time pressured, and requires accuracy. The employee will regularly multi-task between projects, be required to move throughout the office building and production floor. Effectively communicate orally and written.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • A two-year degree in Electronics with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Microscope experience.
  • Training and experience with IPC-610 standards or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with ISO procedures.
  • Component identification experience
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Good vision, hand coordination and manual dexterity are required.
  • Ability to read, write and otherwise communicate effectively in English
  • Basic PC knowledge
