Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Ensure all machinery is in safe working condition.

· Adhere to safety policies and procedures.

· Actively participate in root cause analysis processes.

· Assist in cross training of maintenance team and other team members.

· Complete cost-effective repairs in a timely manner.

· Actively participate in CIP (continuous improvement process).

· Complete assigned work orders and preventive maintenance work orders.

· Function as a member of Manufacturing, Engineering, 5S, Ergonomic or Kaizen teams.

· Responsible for quality of won work.

· Must be flexible to work overtime and any shift as required.

· Work with the preventative maintenance program.

· Supports maintenance of ISMS.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, trade school a plus.

· Journeyman or Mechatronics certificate and 1-3 years industrial maintenance experience preferred.

· Working knowledge of common maintenance tools.

· Knowledge in Keyence Cameras.

· Ability to diagnose AC and DC circuits.

· General knowledge and experience in power transmissions, pneumatics, electrical, hydraulics, etc. as applicable in manufacturing and packaging equipment.

· Ability to read schematics and drawings.

· Knowledge in conveyor system.

· Knowledge in AC loop in the car.

· Good general and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

· Knowledge in PLC ladder logic and contact usage.

· Ability to interpret precision measurement instruments (i.e. calipers, dial indicator, etc.).

· Ability to use a computer to enter various data and work orders.

· Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

· Knowledge on Just in sequence.

· Knowledge in Cognex Cameras.

· Able to perform PM and work sometimes without support.

You should be proficient in:

  • Automotive Manufacturing Systems
