Job Description:

Leads strategic engagements with our Global Telco Customers to bring HPE solutions to solve Telco specific market requirements. Partners with R&D to drive innovation into our new products in order to meet the needs of our Telco Customers. Establishes Technology differentials and appropriately positions the HPE Product Roadmap to our Telco Customers. Drives Geo specific technology initiatives and provides direction to the Telco Strategy and Roadmap teams.

Contributions have visible technical impact on a product or major subcomponent. Applies in-depth professional knowledge and innovative ideas to solve complex problems. Visible contributions improve time-to-market, achieve cost reductions, or satisfy current and future unmet customer needs. Recognized internal authority on key technology area applying innovative principles and ideas. Provides technical leadership for significant project/program work. Leads in cross-functional initiatives and contributes to mentorship and knowledge sharing across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic Customer engagements
  • Establish Technology differentials with Customers
  • Effectively positions HPE Telco solutions with Customers
  • Drives Geo specific Technology initiatives
  • Provides direction to the Telco Strategy and Roadmap teams
  • Active participation and leadership in WW Internal Technology Forums
  • Identifies and evaluates new technologies, innovations, and outsourced partner relationships for alignment with strategy roadmap and business value; creates plans for integration and update into architecture.
  • Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members to set an example of product engineering design and development innovation and excellence.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 15+ years experience in the Telecom industry

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Detailed knowledge of the Telecom Industry and the ability to apply this knowledge to create solutions.
  • Knowledge of AI Tools and how to drive value with these tool sets.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Evaluating and selecting forms of empirical analysis, modeling and testing methodologies to validate product designs and specifications.
  • History of innovation with examples of developing new technologies and practices for manufacturing designs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
  • Ability to effectively communicate Telecom solutions, plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at business unit and executive levels.
