What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)
  • Contacts and visits customers to review and identify the strategic direction, improvement areas, and opportunities to promote product growth.
  • Aligns local Murata strategy and our Product Divisions’ priorities to assigned customers’ objectives and goals.
  • Develops account business plans.
  • Develops relationships with all key decision-makers that effectuate the design, procurement, usage, and service of Murata’s products.
  • Initiates and coordinates Early Sales Involvement (ESI) projects.
  • Negotiates price contracts between the customer and Product Division(s).
  • Reviews, maintains, and assures effective implementation and execution of customer contracts.
  • Serves as the key contact responsible for answering customer inquiries and resolving customer concerns.
Miscellaneous Job Responsibilities
  • Coordinates special sales projects and promotions.
  • Takes a leadership role in customer meetings and conference calls, publishes minutes, and drives action item closure.
  • Performs other job-related responsibilities and duties, as assigned.
What Is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience in sales or marketing in an electronic-related or other technical industry.
  • Experience working for a culturally diverse global company.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally.
