Job description

Barista Keyholder – 4th Street Piñon Coffee House

Part-time | Albuquerque, NM

Tips range from $12 to $18/HR

At New Mexico Piñon Coffee, we believe every cup tells a story — one filled with warmth, pride, and New Mexican flavor. We’re looking for a Barista Keyholder to help us share that story every day!

As a Keyholder, you’ll be more than just a coffee expert — you’ll be a leader who sets the tone for our café. You’ll open and close the shop, support your team, and create experiences that brighten someone’s day (and maybe make their morning a little smoother).

What You’ll Do:
☕ Craft delicious, high-quality drinks with consistency and care
Lead by example — showing kindness, energy, and teamwork
Deliver genuine hospitality with a “customer-first” mindset
Open and close the café, handle cash, and support daily operations
✨ Help keep our space welcoming, organized, and full of positive vibes

What You’ll Bring:

  • A love for coffee and community

  • Dependable, upbeat attitude

  • Team spirit and a willingness to learn

  • Leadership experience is a plus

Physical Requirements:
This role is active and hands-on — you’ll be on your feet for most of your shift, moving around the café and assisting customers. You should be comfortable:

  • Standing and walking for extended periods

  • Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs (coffee boxes, milk crates, etc.)

  • Performing repetitive motions such as bending, reaching, and twisting

Perks:

  • Employee discounts (half off coffee amp; more!)

  • Opportunities for growth and leadership

  • A welcoming, community-driven work environment

Come be part of something special — where we enrich lives through the love of coffee.
