Key Account Manager Job Description: As a Key Account Manager, you will nurture and develop relationships with strategically important key accounts. You will represent our entire range of products and services, leading the overall strategy to meet and exceed customer expectations while aligning with our organization's goals. Your responsibilities include:

  • Developing strong customer relationships with key business executives and stakeholders.
  • Managing day-to-day operations and ongoing project management within the accounts, ensuring compliance with vendor & supplier processes.
  • Account sales and profit & loss management.
  • Active involvement in account sales analytics.
  • Demand planning and forecasting.
  • Experience with managing and working with brokers is a plus.
  • Familiarity with retailer portal requirements.
  • Identifying customer needs and exceeding client expectations.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including our international offices.
  • Leading as the primary contact for all customer matters.
  • Negotiating account management contracts and agreements.
  • Leading strategic account planning and setting performance objectives.

Key Account Manager Requirements:

  • Proven 5+ years of experience as a Key Account or National Account Manager, preferably in the Mass Market, Health & Beauty, or related CPG industry.
  • Familiarity with Mass Market, Pharmacy, Health, and Beauty Retailers.
  • Buying or Planning experience in a big-box retail environment is a major plus.
  • Strong data analytics and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM, Office, Project Management software, and business applications.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A four-year college degree from an accredited institution is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel for meetings and tradeshows, with some weekend travel possibly required.
