Overview:

Parlor Doughnuts is a craft doughnut and coffee shop offering an array of unique bakery items, including our original layered doughnuts; vegan, gluten-friendly, and keto-friendly products; artisanal breakfasts; and specialty coffee. Our goal is to efficiently deliver a superior product, at a moderate price, with exceptional service, in a comfortable setting.

Parlor Doughnuts is looking for someone experienced to join the team! To hand craft a quality layered doughnut from start to finish that meets or exceeds the Parlor standard. Den/Back of House workers are responsible for ensuring a full display of doughnuts is available, while meeting the needs of the customer.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare doughnuts from start to finish (prepare, fry and decorate)

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations of fryers and manage inventory of ingredients

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area

  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for customers

  • Help front of house by providing excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing customer concerns

  • Help direct in additional duties such as, sweeping, dishes, or garbage.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not required

  • Knowledge of basic food handling and preparation techniques

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Physical stamina to withstand a full shift on their feet

  • Must obtain/maintain Serv Safeยฎ or State certification

  • Must be on time for opening shift (4:00am)

  • Knowledge/training/certification in kitchen emergencies (First Aid, CPR, Fires)
