Collaboration with IT and OT teams is essential to align network architectures and resolve compatibility concerns. Staying updated on Kepware’s latest features and security updates also helps engineers minimize downtime and optimize integration.

What is Kepware and what does it do?

Kepware is a software platform developed by PTC that provides industrial connectivity solutions, primarily through its KEPServerEX product. It acts as a bridge between industrial automation devices, such as PLCs, sensors, and control systems, and software applications used for monitoring, data analysis, and control. Kepware supports a wide range of communication protocols, making it easier to integrate different hardware and software in manufacturing, energy, and other industrial environments. By centralizing data collection and distribution, Kepware helps organizations improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
