Position Overview
Kemco Facilities Services is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician to support our growing customer base throughout the Miami metropolitan area.
This position is ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys solving complex problems, working independently, and delivering exceptional customer service. While commercial HVAC is the primary focus, experience with refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and general commercial maintenance is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and control systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Service restaurants, retail stores, healthcare facilities, banks, and other commercial properties.
  • Complete minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and facility maintenance repairs as needed.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and provide clear repair recommendations.
  • Complete work orders, service reports, and required documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, inventory, and equipment.
  • Follow all OSHA regulations, safety policies, and company procedures.
Qualifications
Required
  • 5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Experience servicing commercial HVAC equipment
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems and controls
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to successfully pass a background screening
Preferred
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • Commercial refrigeration experience
  • Plumbing experience
  • Electrical troubleshooting experience
  • Commercial kitchen equipment repair
  • General construction or handyman experience
Physical Requirements
  • Frequently lift 50-75 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Climb ladders and work safely at heights.
  • Work in confined spaces and varying weather conditions.
  • Stand, bend, kneel, walk, and climb throughout the workday.
  • Travel daily throughout the Greater Miami area.
  • Safely work around electrical equipment, mechanical systems, and high-temperature components.
